After several plates of food and an amazing nap, I felt refreshed and truly on vacation. The amazing part about the cruise was that there were so many things for family to do on-board. My wife and I brought our daughters and they really enjoyed it. There were kids’ areas with kid sized-pools, slides, arcades, activity areas and just so much. My youngest daughter literally participated in almost everything and slept very well each night.
There was even a daycare that stayed open until 2 am (for the serious parents who party). The 9th floor had the be the most popular area on the cruise ship. It has the casino, the entertainment theater, the kids pool area, a gym, a spa, a photo booth, kids club area, etc. Since it was my 3 year anniversary, my wife and I decided to get a couples message. I am usually the money saver but since it was my first at sea, I needed to loosen up and relax. That was the best decision in my life (other than marrying my lovely wife, of course). We both received a 50 minute message from the Indulgence Spa and Salon. It was amazing. It was a stress-free environment and my wife and I ended up buying health care products (health first!).
Next we had a very exquisite and elegant dinner at Stellar Prime. We each had an appetizer, an entree, and a desert. The cheesecake was amazing! The amazing part about the this on-board dining restaurant was that it was not an extra charge but included in cruise fee (as well as the buffet).
The most amazing part of the cruise is that the destination was Freeport, Bahamas. I purchased me a $12 Bahama Mama rum cup( refillable of course!).
Stay tuned for part 3 as we arrive in the Bahamas!
