Thank you for supporting us. Want to let you know who we are

Hey everyone! First of all we want to say thank you for your support. We are very blessed to have you all as readers. I know we are a little late, but we passed over 2000 followers! Also, we wanted to celebrate that we have been posting for over 3 years. A big milestone we just accomplished.

Of course, I was on a plane when I got that notification. The life of a traveler!

So if you haven’t noticed by now, it’s more than just one person that blogs on here. You can usually tell who is writing the post by the name on the photo credit. We wanted to make it clear. Some of you have noticed and others have not. We want to show you who we are and how we started.

The photo above is me, Hugo Morel. I started this blog with my good friend who is practically family, Tony Polanco. We are both two kids from some tough areas in California. I’m from the San Francisco Bay and Tony is from Los Angeles. We started this blog because we were told only rich people can travel the world. We wanted to show the world that anybody can travel, it doesn’t matter what thier background is.

The things were are doing and places we are traveling to, we have no real business of being there. We both somehow raised above all the bad influences we grew up around with.

Our mission, we wish to spread understand and love with our posts. We believe the more you understand another person, the less likely you would start wars against them. Love shines and hate destroys.

Eventually, Tony got married and had a child. Since then, he has been traveling with his family. I truly don’t know how he does it but, he does. He finds a way to bring his whole family alongside him on his adventures. Tony makes sure there is no excuses to what he is passionate about.

Lastly, for our last but definitely not least member, Madelin. Madelin is Tony’s wife. She is an upbeat type of person and a proud mom. She gives our blog a feminine spin and talks about veganism a lot. Of course, she is one of the cool ones that doesn’t force her ideas on us. Which, makes us more inclined to try her way of eating, once in a while. She takes amazing photos. Also, saved Tony a few times from life or death situations. You all will be seeing more of her posts soon! We have so much more in store for you all!

  1. Congrats on your 3 years & 2,000 follower milestone! It’s refreshing to read about ordinary people doing extraordinary things like seeing the world. Glad your travels have taken you to my humble homeland of Jamaica as well. You’re always welcome. 🙂 but do see more of the Caribbean when you can too. And it’s nice to learn about all the people behind this blog.

  2. Hey, what a surprise. Thanks for the shout out…wow! I remember our first comment chat about my post about Bario Logan and Chicano park in San Diego. It’s been a joy to watch you grow. And over 2000 followers! Congratulations! I’m a blogger not only to share my thoughts and inspire others but also to build relationships. Glad I have built a good one with you all. I look forward to being able to have you help me with travel stuff in the future.

I also look forward to seeing where you go from here. I’m finishing my 40th year doing holistic and spiritual work. Life is an adventure.

  3. Congratulations on your 3 year anniversary, and thanks for introducing the members of your team. It’s great to see the smiling faces behind your blog. 🙂
It’s so true what you said about travel. It takes determination, not great wealth, to do it. All the best to you all as you continue your journey!

      1. Thank you so much!! It’s hard because in my culture chicken and steak is the staple of our dishes. Also, we eat tons of cheese and milk. Will get there someday!! It’s truly unhealthy what they put in animals and milk now. The treatment of animals is really bad too. Thank you so much!!
