After leaving the Czech Republic, we arrived in Munich, Germany. The road trip was not as fun as we would had liked. A few bees went into our bus. Let’s just say, we were freaking out. It took an older Chinese gentleman to handle the bees. We are fearless youngsters!
Apparently, the thing above is a car.
Taking the subway in Munich was awkward. It was so quite! You can hear a pin drop. Whispering was close to yelling. No one was talking to each other and no music performers. It felt dead compared to all the other countries’ subways I have been to.
Throughout this city, you can feel that people were tense. By the time we arrived, there were several terrorist attacks that occured. Everybody was somewhat fearful. Even with all the unfortunate events, we still had a great time. A lot parts of Germany made me feel like I was playing an elder scrolls game.
Germany is a beautiful country. Unfortunately, we were only there for one full day. Make sure to stop by Munich during October. At this time, there is a festival happening. Just remember, this is the beer capital of the world.
Thank you for taking your time to read this post! Next week go to Italy! Much love and stay safe!
If you are a long time follower, you would know how much I love subways. The whole thought about going to a different country, and/or city, and seeing how locals travel around is so fascinating to me.
It all starts in the morning with some potato dumplings. Those dumplings would be awesome with some cheese. They are still good regardless but with cheese, they will be an awesome cheese filled dumpling! The only thing better than that is a cheeseburger from In and Out.
Prague’s subway system is very modern. It felt like a fancier version of New York’s subway.
When taking the subway make sure to have this ticket with you. If you lost it, you will have to buy another ticket to get back to where you are staying.
This reminded me of star trek for some reason.
This is what stood out to me, the subway walls have carvings. Let’s see them try that in New York.
I love trolleys and light rails. Reminds me of my hometown, San Francisco.
Thank you all for reading this post. Have a safe week and stay heathly. Much love! Next time we will be in Germany.
Has something so beautiful ever made you lose your breath? Well to me, that is Prague. The most beautiful city in Europe.
It’s hard to explain walking in the streets of Prague. One minute, you accidentally walk into a sex shop and the other, you forget how to breathe. Very turn takes your breath away.
As we walked around the city, we stopped by Saint Vitus Cathedral. I have never been so excited to be in a church. It was so beautiful!
It’s times like these, remind why I love traveling. Culture is so interesting! It’s hard not to fall in love with this city.
We walked on the Charles Bridge. The scene was something else. This bridge felt very alive. It was a lot different from the bridges in america. The bridge seemed like it was made for walking.
Thank you for reading my post!! Stay safe guys! Enjoy your week, keep healthy! Spread the love becuase right now America needs it!!!
I write this post in memory of my dear family friend, Ethel Siederman. She was a Polish jew, who’s family escaped Poland before being thrown into this camp of evil.
Coming into the camp was heavy. We were all trying to be emotionally ready. Sadly, we were not.
As we got to the camp, there was a sudden sadness that swept over us. Knowing that so many people died here, was brutally depressing. The smell of burning flesh, was probably the last sense of reality they had. The worst part, the camp goes on for miles.
The picture above is the ruins of a gas chamber. As they were losing the war, the Nazis destroyed the gas chambers to hide the evidence.
Hey ladies and gentlemen, I posted this today because it was the day she going to visit me. May she rest in peace. She helped my family out a lot. There was always a positive moment with her. At the age of 83, she was still traveling.
Much love to you all!! Next week, it will be on a more positive note. We will be Prague! Stay healthy!!!
After spending time in krakow, the differences compared to Poland’s capital are highly noticeable.
The city of Krakow, one of Poland’s older cities. Dating back to the 7th century, this city has always been a culture center for the country.
Many of the city’s buildings, have been untouched nor modernised. Opposed to Warsaw, the city lost it’s soul due to the war, Krakow still has it’s roots. At times, you would feel as if the buildings bleed out history. Almost as if, they want to tell you thier story.
I just had to add food on this post. Best sausages ever!!!! Kielbasa was the only Polish food, I truly enjoyed.
Thank you for taking your time to read this post. Next week, it will be very emotional. We will be in Auschwitz. Have a great week and stay healthy. Much love!!
So, I have been wanting to do this for some time now. I wanted to write about my life to inspire others. Never really thought my life was interesting; until, a friend told me to start a blog. That blog became this. In this blog, I have written about the good times of me traveling the world. Life was not always great for me. There were times, I did not think my life was worth living. My teenager years were rough. I will share these events in my life, so it can inspire you to see a better future. There is always a light at the end of the tunnel. Also, no matter how hard life gets, keep a smile on your face.
So, I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. During my childhood, my household was the average upper middle class family. My parents were both college educated. Everything was perfect, until the economy crashed down. Life became hard and money was not in abundance. That this time, my grandpa had fallen ill. He was on his last days. We could only afford one ticket at that time. My mother got to see her father scream my name, as he lost the will to live. At that moment, I made a promise to myself to always have some money leftover to travel when needed.
A few years past, my friends and I saved up money to travel. The first place we went to was Panama. During this trip, my passion for travel was born. These friends, helped my start my first business.
To not bore you all, all these negative events in my life became postive. In life, you must make the best out of any situation. I now own two businesses, have traveled to over 16 countries and four continents. Life gets better and remember to smile. That smile might help someone with thier hardships.
Thank you for taking your time to read this! Next time we will continue my travels in Poland. Love you all! Have a great week and stay healthy!
Times square, the center of the world. The center of the world’s capital. Times square is truly breathetaking.
I have been here many times (bad pun), one can never get bored here. So many interesting characters. From crazy homeless people who claim the world is ending tomorrow to people having breakdowns, this place has it all. If you are looking for free entertainment, Times Square is the place.
This area has a dark past. Once as a mobsters hangout, Times Square was filled with illegal activities. Eventually, one mayor had enough and wanted to make the square Disney friendly. Now, it’s one of the world’s biggest tourist attraction. People from all ages now walk these streets at all times (another bad pun) of the day.
Believe or not, Times Square is one of the city’s most secured areas. With so many police around, it makes one feels very calm to walk the streets at night. Just watch out for the police on horses, they leave behind tracks. Make sure to watch the floor at all times (I couldn’t help myself).
Thank you for taking your time to read this post! Much love! I know I said we would be going to the Bronx but that will be next week. Have a safe week!!
